Driving Directions

The quickest way to access Iron Creek Lake is to take Exit 8 off Interstate 90 on the west edge of Spearfish and head south. McGuigan Road turns into Tinton Road (134) a couple miles south. After traveling about 13 miles south, a wooden sign will indicate where to turn right or west onto Beaver Creek Road. Just a half mile or so down this road, and another wooden sign marks a left-hand turn onto Iron Creek Road which leads directly to the lake.

The lake can also be accessed from Spearfish Canyon by following the signs just west of Roughlock Falls.
